All initial guidelines are intended to be advisory rather than prescriptive and Mission The International Society for Brachial Plexus and Peripheral Nerve Injury is dedicated to advancing the specialty of brachial plexus and peripheral nerve surgery. It also serves as the spoke organization for all practitioners of the specialty of brachial plexus, in order to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. Aim The aim of the Society is to enhance its contribution to both the Journal of Brachial Plexus and Peripheral Nerve Injury and the international community dedicated or interested in brachial plexus and peripheral nerve injury. History The Society was founded in December, 2004, in Houston, Texas, as a not-for-profit organization. The International Society for Brachial Plexus and Peripheral Nerve Injury will hold its Inaugural (1st) International Biennial Conference in March, 2006. Founding Members Founding Members will be deemed those individuals who are in attendance at the Inaugural (1st) International Biennial Conference in March, 2006.
